PCATD has several agreements with neighboring departments, depending on what part of the county someone lives in dictates who is contacted if there is no ambulance available in the county. For example if Northern Pendleton Fire District’s ambulance is available they will be contacted first, however, if they are unavailable a neighboring department will be contacted based on the location of the call.
Bracken County EMS, Campbell Fire and Rescue, Corinth Fire Department, Dry Ridge Fire Department, Harrison County EMS, Piner- Fiskburg Fire Department, Williamstown Fire Department.
While this depends on the status of those departments, other departments could be contacted if necessary.
If there a need for Air Medical to be called Air Evac 133 is the first called by our crews and dispatch, with that we have several options if they are unavailable:
Air Evac 89 Brown County, OH
UC Air Care Walton and Cincinnati
There are also several other air medical bases within a 25 to 50 mile radius of Pendleton County however, our crews look to getting the patient to the most appropriate facility in a fastest and safest manner possible.
